RCA 1663 (45 rpm)

Track Listing:

Side 1:

1. Guitar Man

Side 2:

Released: February 16, 1968:

Sound Format: mono

UK Single No: (62)

Elvis' latest single was a very strong offering with two great sides. The A-side having the benefit of the songwriter, Jerry Reed on guitar duties. But unfortunately like previous occasions, RCA showed a complete lack of foresight, and stuck it on the "Clambake" soundtrack LP as a bonus track . The B-side was a worthy pairing, showing Elvis at his bluesy best.
