This album contained previously released tracks. Elvis was still abroad in Germany serving with Uncle Sam and therefore unavailable to RCA to record new material. The Front Cover used an image of Elvis looking splendid in his army uniform sitting in his car at Graceland, while on leave in June 1958. The rear cover had a 1960 calendar with March 24 circled in red as Elvis' departure date from the service.

NOTE: This was also the first album to acknowledge that the sleeve was laminated with Clarifoil.

NOTE: This LP was issued using the matrix number K2PP. K2 = 1959      PP = Mono LP

Side 1: K2PP 0041     Side 2: K2PP 0042

This album was kept in stock by issuing re-pressings with the same catalogue number until it was deleted by RCA in November 1970.
