The front cover used a cropped photograph of a two year old Elvis. The rear cover had a live shot of Elvis in concert. The material was recorded in Nashville in 1970, with Elvis in fine voice. Early pressings of this album came with a free double-sided card of Elvis.

Each track on this album were continually linked together using excerpts from the song "I Was Born About Ten Thousand Years Ago".

This album was kept in stock by issuing re-pressings with the same catalogue number. It was later assigned a new number when released on the International Label in 1981.
